  Nanchang University is a national university situated in central China in the Provincial capital of Nanchang. International Exchange College (IEC) of the university specializes in providing Chinese language and culture programs for international students in Nanchang University. IEC is appointed to be one of National Model Base of Education for International Students in China. We accept international students for long term and short term language programs. Study with IEC is an opportunity to get to know Chinese language, experience the culture and be part of Chinese life.
This Chinese language program helps students improve their proficiency in the Chinese Language in order to reach academic, professional, and personal goals.It complies with the syllabus of NOCFL and the test guide of HSK.In small class taught by dedicated professionals, students are given individual attention to develop their skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Levels and Classes:     
Elementary Chinese, including Comprehensive Reading, Speaking ,Listening,Chinese Characters, HSK Tutoring（Level 3-4）
Intermediate Chinese, including Comprehensive Reading ,Speaking ,Listening, Writing,HSK Tutoring（Level 5-6）
Advanced Chinese, including Comprehensive Reading, Extensive reading, Speaking and Listening, Chinese Characters, Senior Writing,HSK Tutoring（Level 7-8）
Speed-up Chinese, including Comprehensive Reading, Speaking ,Listening,Chinese Characters
Business Chinese, including Chinese Phonetics, Business Chinese, Chinese Characters,Everyday Chinese
There will be about 20 hours per week for each level.

Study Period:
Ranges from six months to two years.The spring semester runs from February to July, and the autumn semester from September to January.

Prospective students:
Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport, above the age of 18 and under the age of 45, in good mental and physical health.

Application periods:
Time of Application: From 1st April to 31st May Every Year.
Time of Enrollment: September Every Year.
