Heilongjiang University is an outstanding University in Heilongjiang Province. It is comprised of 32 colleges. It awards bachelor degrees in 76 majors as well as Doctoral degrees in 17 majors. There are over 2000 full-time teachers, among them are 522 Doctoral and Masters tutors. The student body has over 30,000 members enrolled at present. Heilongjiang University, just like Tsinghua University, is one of the nine pilot entrepreneurship education universities and was rated as an excellent school by the Ministry of Education in it's National Assessment of Education.
Heilongjiang University Cambridge College, is invested by the Oriental Cambridge Education Group, undertaken by Heilongjiang University, and approved by the provincial government and recorded by the National Education Department. (No. 13303). Cambridge College is part of Heilongjiang University and both enrolls and graduates students in accordance with the national education plan. 
Cambridge College was awarded the title One of The Honest Independent Colleges in Chinese education in 2008. It lies the central district of the city of Harbin known as Xiangfang District. It has seven teaching deans and two teaching departments. A student can be awarded a bachelors degree in any of 23 majors. There are over 7,000 students. The campus grounds cover four hundred thousand square meters. The area of the buildings alone is one hundred and fifteen thousand square meters. There are forty thousand books in our library and teaching equipment with a value of twenty-three million nine hundred and thirty thousand RMB.  The school provides an active and full-developmental study environment for students from all over the country through first-class managed conditions, modern teaching equipment and exceptional living facilities.

  The college especially attaches importance to teaching management for foreign students. The International Office is in charge of quarters management and Chinese language teaching. We've adopted a multi-mode (full-day study with Chinese students and half a day study with Chinese students), multi-level (beginning, secondary, advanced and HSK strengthening classes in accordance with the Chinese comprehension level) and teaching students in small classes. Unique tutor training - one Chinese student to one foreign student - helps students improve their Chinese level quickly and effectively. We can ensure the improvement rate is 100 percent in students’ every time on the HSK exam. Students can choose to study Russian or Japanese except for Chinese in our college. We also set up enjoyable Chinese culture classes, handcrafts, handwriting, drawing, cooking, Chinese Kungfu and Chinese folk dance and, in addition, organize regular visits to many places of interest, to watch acrobatics, Peking Opera and national musical instruments performances etc. 
  We provide a warm and comfortable living environment for students. They are managed in a mode similar to that of a hotel and specially living teachers there. Facilities are fully furnished and have telephones, refrigerators, air conditioners, showers, etc. One can choose from nearly a hundred dishes in the dining room.
